Netherlands coach Louis van Gaal assess the Oranje team's visit to Indonesia in a friendly match will be more special reference to the historical ties between the two countries.
Dutch scheduled to play a friendly against Indonesia at the Bung Karno Main Stadium Jakarta on June 7, 2013, after signing a contract with promoter Nine Sports.
"We know our national team and their players get fantastic support from fans in Indonesia. We've been looking to bring fans closer to the Oranje, rich culture and heritage, "said Van Gaal told KNVB page.
"However, there are historical ties between the two countries, making this visit will feel more special."
Besides holding test match, visit the Netherlands is also to provide support to the community of Indonesian football. Page KNVB call this meeting is the first time for both countries.
"We want to share our knowledge and experience of football in Indonesia. Therefore, a special program has been developed that will help Indonesia build the football federation and the structure of their football knowledge, "said commercial director Jean Paul Decossaux KNVB.
